No longer Simple

Life's simple pleasures
When forehead kisses were a sign of endearment
Before hide and go get it had a meaning
When all my worries lied in missing my favorite cartoon
My powerpad brightened my day
Only cried while plucking switches leaves
It was so simple
Now I cry about everything that is life
The love, the ambitions, the failures
I close my eyes, a tear falls from my lids
Hoping when they open there will be no more worries
Not ever wanting to open them because I know there will be
