OMG... I am soooooo happy right now. After starting off slow last week the Wire showed and proved this is going to be a season to remember. They brought Avon back. Avon and Marlo face-off!!! I just love it. I'm still not feeling the bringing the media in thing, but seeing Avon on cam again, made up for it! Where the hell is Omar though?

Since some of my readers have never seen an episode of the Wire.. here is the first four seasons in 4 minutes. So now that your all caught up, start watching this season so you know what the heck I'm talking about from now on...LOL

You just know Avon is gonna screw up Marlo's plans. I can't wait to see Chris and Snoop vs. Omar.

i like the media thing, its not to bad. To bad Stringer isn't there to help Avon take it to Omar though.

I think Avon setting Marlo up for something. that brotherly love stuff he was talking seems too good to be true.

And you know Omar dont show his face till the 4th episode every season anyway. Cant wait to see

AHHHHHHHHHH!!! Eb!!!! I was sooo excited to see Avon too..for a while Wood Harris was saying he didn't know if he'd be back...but he is!! CANNOT wait to see how this whole thing plays out!!!

I almost passed out when I saw Avon! It was great! And you know that whole West Side bond was a bunch of crap. He HATES friggin' Marlo.

I think the news angle would be better if it was less about fraudulent reporting and more about the slant on the news. They hint at it--that people die in zip codes that don't matter, but they're not really delving into it.

Omar looks like he was having a nice simple life in Puerto Rico or something. That is so over.
