I don't think you have a rough exterior (even tho we've never met). It sounds like you have a good heart and that's very important.
Could you REALLY live somewhere other than NYC and be happy?

My friends looked at me like I was crazy when I told them I was lookin' to get a 4th tat. Glad to see I'm not the only one that has some obsession with the ink. Chi-Town, baby!! Never been...always wanted to go. You & me both with fearing not being successful. I love FLA but leaving the state made me miss it and appreciate it more. So you should def look into moving...especially since you're still young. Eb the Celeb can make it n-t-where.

@ -1- yup... Eb is conquering the CHI this weekend and of course you know there will be pics upon my return.
Its actually not a good thing I have the date already... I've already had to change it once. When I graduated from college it was July 5, 2008... and we know that aint happening... Hopefully I can nab somebody quick so that 2010 date can stick.
@Kyle - I do have a good heart but I am bad with first impressions. I can be really stand-off ish with people I dont know and dont really venture out and try to get to know new people. (This is of course in real life)
Of course I could see myself living in another city. I realized that my priorities and things that were important to me when I first moved here are totally different and that I really have outgrown this city. I want to buy a house and have a puppy... I want a yard. I cant have any of that here.

@Ticia - I cant wait to meet you too! I get in Friday at noon and I am staying in Shaumburg near the party on Friday night and downtown CHI on Sat.
@Divine - The CHI is definitely a must go to city in the states... Spring-Fall its gorgeous. If it didnt have the most ridiculously cold winters I would consider moving there.
i dont listen to baisden and it is truly a shame since I have all his books and dont miss his show on TV1. I love Baisden but usually spend all my time listening to my RBW playlist at work. Maybe I should switch it up... I'm sure it would make my co-workers happy...lol
@pajnstl - I promise when I get #10 i will do a tatt post like my lil sis Karrie B. did last week. It probably will be soon too... maybe next month... I'm thinking about getting the Sankofa behind my ear.

@Shug - Nope, never been on a "real" date. And by that I mean where the guy actually took the time to throroughly plan it out and impress me. Something outside the box like from the movie hitch. I have done the dinner and a movie bit a million times but never a real date. I know, sad right.
