I don't think you should be getting all cynical and thinking that love is for the birds and such because of one, relatively bad experience. You shouldn't shut yourself off to possibilities because you never know when that perfect person for you is going to cross paths with yours. Sometimes you can have love with your chocolate, or enjoy chocolate with the one you love. Or if you're into that sort of thing, chocolate on you and the one you love...if you're into that sort of thing that is...

Can I just tell you, and I KNOW this wasn't necessarily the point of this post, that IN MY OPINION you're not going to be able to be "just friends" with Semipro b/c there are still MANY feelings (I can only speak about yours b/c I don't know his) sitting right out in the open. I think its POSSIBLE to be cool with him later on but this soon? I really don't see it.
As for the cynicism, I haven't been in love yet but I do trust that when its RIGHT and when its FOR YOU, there will be no cynicism. In due time, babes...IN DUE TIME.
