Is that suppose to make a chick feel better about herself or less insecure. Yo boo, I got like 3 other chicks but you're my favorite. You can't tell a person that. You have favorite foods, favorite underwear, favorite book or song or city. But you can't have a favorite person. Just like you can't have a favorite child...you can't have a favorite breezy unless there is no relationship involved and your just sexin'. Even then make this ish specific, she's my favorite at giving head, or she's my favorite for taking it from the back, or she's my favorite when I want to be rode. You dont hear people walking around talking about they have a favorite friend... NO... they say they have a best friend, a best man, etc. There can only be 1. There ain't a phrase for the best of the chicks you talking to...so don't go around telling chicks their your favorite unless the ultimate result is how Marques Houston meant it.
If he/she is special enough to be your favorite,
than he/she should be special enough to be your only!

I sure feel you on this. Have you noticed the VAST difference in the love songs of our parents day vs. the nonsense they release today. Shit is kinda sad and super disheartening to know how far man/woman relationships have deteriorated over the years. Being a favorite just ain't good enough...but if enough women felt like that...we wouldn't have half the problems we do dealing with the opposite sex. Nice post.
I don't get it either, Eb. I think it's a mind game. The plethora of successful, beautiful, available women has to play a big part in this type of commitment phobia. What I wouldn't give to be a guy for a week to get a better understanding of how this whole thing works. Hope you're feeling better today.

wow..that is crazy....i like day 26 alot but that is just a stupid song...i love love love this marques houston song...he is the truth and he look good too. but yeah i can definitely see the difference between these songs...one is sayin yeah i like you but you aint the only one. and the other is sayin yeah i like you and i want you to be the only one.. thats crazy though...
