My official farewell to Bodie

The Wire has officially been doing me dirty the past couple seasons. All my favorite characters keep getting killed. First Stringer Bell, and then last season poor Bodie didnt have a chance. I had the pleasure of meeting him in the summer of 2006. He's a pleasure in person as well.I honestly dont feel he had a just exit from the show, or a proper funeral so can we have a moment of silence now for him.

Thank you. How can they start the new season on January 6th on HBO without formully saying goodbye to Bodie. So here are a couple of my favorite Bodie moments.

RIP Bodie

I cant wait for this new season Mike really became the star of the younger generation. I know he is going to cause havoc in this final stretch. I cant wait to see how his character develops.

I also cant wait to see how they develop snoop. was highly disturbed when I found out that she was a women, and then I did a little background on her. She has a real compelling story for anyone who is interested, and even wrote a book entitled "Grace after midnight." Felicia Pearson was born a three-pound cross-eyed crack baby in East Baltimore. Both parents in jail she grew up in the foster care system and was on the streets dealing drugs by the age of 12.At 14, she was sentenced to 8 years in prison for second degree murder after killing a woman in self-defense. A couple of years ago, Snoop was discovered in a nightclub by one of The Wire's cast members and quickly recruited to be one of television's most frightening and intriguing villians.

I'm making my prediction right now that Marlo and Omar are going to throwdown. One of them will definitely die before the final season is over, and I got a hunch that Mike might be the one to take them out. Or, will they let Avon out of jail and he comes back to take the crown? Here are a couple previews:>

Aw man, you have The Wire videos. I have to check these out on lunch break. I'll be back. But, yeah, that boy Mike was the deal last season.

I haven't even seen the last season, but I think it hits Netflix tomorrow...or maybe it did last week. I might need to get HBO. *sigh*

It's a shame that I live in Bmore and am completely unaware of the happenings on THE WIRE. Blame it on my lack of cable :-( This budget is killin' me!!

I am from Baltimore and only got into The Wire last season. I need to see the ones before and catch up.

Can you believe I didn't realize Pearson was a female? I love The Wire. The writing is second 2 none.

I have a homeboy who lives in B-More. For the longest he tried to tell me how the city was. He wasn't lying.

Dude......I'm still mad about Bodie....and Stringer. I can't wait for this season to begin. Omar's about to take ish to a whole another level. And I can't even watch the videos. God I love this work firewall. ughh. You about to make me go home and rewatch all of them seasons just to refresh.

I have yet to see an episode of The Wire. I'm way behind.

for the first 3 seasons most of the shows in the hood were filmed right on the street i grew up on

(that was scarry)

and on one of the last episodes in season 3 they had a shootout right in front of my old house (that is a ruff ass neighborhood)

however, many people who live in b-more are troubled by the wire because we feel as though they just talk about the dirty little secrets of a small segment of the population in baltimore

i can understand why because sometimes the real low down and dirty stuff is the most interesting

I know, I know..... but I haven't...

I love "The Wire." I can't wait until January. I think Omar will die and Mike does it.I don't know if Avon will get out of jail, but I could see him being involved in some way. maybe Omar comes to see him to get a connect on Brother Mouzzone? In any case, it should be a very good final season.

@ cannon: mike killing omar would be the bomb script

Eb the Celeb December 11, 2007 at 11:16 PM

Caesar... that would be crazy... I know that boy mike is going to kill someone big... I can just feel it... I hope Avon comes back though... he just has to or the Wire will have ended in vain

Eb the Celeb December 19, 2007 at 10:54 AM

yeah... Avon gave stringer up... it would be interested to see how he is looked at in the hood after that
