Randomilisciously fabulous...

OK so get ready for the ride, we gon talk a little bit of music, a little bit of TV, a little bit of my personal life, and a couple random tidbits in between!

Make custom t-shirts at CustomInk.com

I made me a t-shirt ya'll...ain't it cute... you can buy one if you want and be rocking RBW style

So me and Mr. Nonono were watching Mo' Better Blues last week. He had never seen it. For those that haven't seen it Denzel Washington was dating 2 chicks, Clarke (light-skinned) and Indigo (aint that a sexy name...I love that name... might name my daughter that if I have me one... and she was dark-skinned) Clarke was tired of being dogged and ended up getting with one of Denzel's band mates (played by Wesley Snipes.) And soon as that happened do you know this man said... "See that's why I don't date light-skinned women, you can't trust them." Now this was weird. I thought he was playing at first but he was dead serious. The man was cheating on her. Granted it wasn't right that she got with someone so close to home but still I thought it was rude to generalize all light-skin black women. Especially since he's like caramel complexion. I just wonder why men do that and label women with certain characteristics as all being the same. I'm not saying its just men either because women do it too. Like one of my homies... I won't even put her out there like that... tried to convince me that all short black dudes have big dicks... I told her I would never find out because a short dude would never get my number let alone step foot in my bedroom...lol

I have not watched one NBA game yet... I am so NOT interested at all in the NBA this year.
Men's NCAA all day though!

I want to go see Madagascar 2 but wouldn't it be kinda weird going to see an animated movie without a child with me? I think so...

Anybody got a kid I can borrow for a day to take to see this?

I saw this on someone's blog... can't remember who but I had to jack it.

Did anybody see Soul Men? If you did how was it?
The soundtrack is the bomb diggity. Only for the grown and sexy though!
I know Keith and Rich will appreciate a soundtrack like this.
This Anthony Hamilton joint is on it

I love me some Anthony Hamilton! His new album, The Point of it All will be in stores December 2nd

RIP Isaac Hayes and Bernie Mac. They also make an appearance on the soundtrack and yes Bernie Mac is singing... it made me smile... him and Samuel L have 3 songs together.

I wonder what Sarah Palin will do now...
Ain't it crazy how the McCain camp turned on her tail so quick.
Now all of a sudden you want to admit how incompetent she is...
but for the last 2months you were so gungho on how worthy she was of being the VP.
I'm so glad the best man won...Our president is black!!!
and did ya'll see Biden chilling in the booth at the Giants/Eagles game on Sunday...lol

Speaking of the Eagles...
Hank Baskett (WR) is engaged to Playmate Kendra.
They are getting married in June and Hugh Hefner is going to be the one giving her away. Am I the only person that thinks that's weird? Why would you want someone that has slept with your soon to be wife be the one that walks her down the aisle and deliver her to you. Its like saying I done tapped it enough, you can have it now.

Don't you hate when your dealing with someone and right when you get to the point that you don't care anymore something happens. Last week I told him I was tired of making time for people who didn't make time for me. He apologized for not being available but that as soon as his season was over things would change. Well Semipro surprised me on Sunday. It was nice. Only a day after his season ended too... if he keeps it up, and with NC boo now being here who treats me like a queen, things might get real interesting in the next couple months. Especially knowing that I wont allow myself to get too close to Semipro because his season starts in February and he'll be out of NYC from then until June. Gives a guy I don't really like that is treating me good a chance to win me over... I'm so confused!

For those that have been waiting on a new Jamie Foxx album like me, Man's Intuition will be in stores December 16th and the lead single is

Oh and my girl Erykah Badu did NOT lie to us about getting 2 albums in 1 year.
New Amerykah Part One: 4th World War dropped in February... and
New Amerykah Part Two: Return Of Ankh drops on November 19th

3 concerts this month and I can't wait...
Foreign Exchange on November 15th
Janelle Monae and Nas on my mom's birthday... November 19th
and finally Maxwell and Jazmine Sullivan on November 23rd

3 songs I can't take off repeat right now

1. Jazmine Sullivan - Best of Me
ugh... every last lyric is how I've been feeling the past 2 months...

2. The Foreign Exchange - Valediction
(both of their albums are must haves in any real music heads collection

3. Tweet - Cruisin
Her 3rd album will be in stores on December 9th and I can't wait

(all 3 are in the RBW playlist if you want to take a listen)

Beyonce's new album sucks hot sweaty monkey balls... Well at least the standard edition does. I haven't heard the deluxe edition but I can't imagine it would be any better.

Americans are marrying later than in past years and the median age is still younger than my black behind....ugh... I'm still standing by my May 5th, 2012 wedding date... My homeboy is discouraged about finding a nice girl too, he's had more than his fair share of whacky ones... so we made a pact : if we're both not in serious relationships and or married by that date we're just going to go to vegas and do it.

The show the GAME is starting to get real lame real fast.
They don't even fricken talk about football anymore. Remember when it first started you used to see them in the locker room or at practice or something having to do with the game of football. Now its just unnecessary drama that doesn't even make sense. Like they are forcing a story out of nothing. Now that its on friday nights its not going to survive too much longer anyway. Another black show soon to bite the dust.

And what the hell is up with Robin Givens on every damn show on the CW. She was on Everybody Hates Chris on Friday too. She must be sleeping with the Network's owner... Doh... that was wrong, I take that back...lol.

The most recent episode of Zane was kinda lame too, but the first 3-4 were the bomb diggity!
The white chick all the way on the left... it cracks me up because her name on the show is Eboni...lol. I laugh every time they say her name. Buddha from I love NY has been on the last 2 episodes and he's not half bad.

Keyshia Cole's last season of The way it is premieres tonight on that so called station for black entertainment...
Who will be watching? ya'll know ya'll gon be watching just to see what the heck Frankie crazy tail gonna do... we all got a crazy aunt or uncle just like this that we act like we have no relation to...lol

OMG can you believe that 2008 is almost over...
Only 50 days left!!!

I think I've convinced myself that if it doesn't work out between any of the current dudes that in 2009 I'm going put a little milk on my coffee... look at all these fabulous Renaissance Black Women that have...(actually I dont know if I want to attach Naomi with the RBW tag but you get the point)

I know I'm not going to marry one or have any babies like they did, but I think I might want to dabble a lil bit. Make sure I ain't missing out on nothing.

OK... I think that is all that's on my mind at the moment!

Girl I have definitely thought about crossing racial lines in terms of dating, Hmmmmm... We'll see what the rest of this year and 2009 brings.

Ticia November 11, 2008 at 11:26 AM

Hey EB -

HOT post!

I am kinda sick of Beyonce - thanks for the warning -

I may need to get some milk in my coco - LOL

Kendra and Hef -that is too weird - yuck!

I don't know what is going on with the game - its real real slow and silly - the drama is good - but make it work

Unknown November 11, 2008 at 11:29 AM

Uh if he cheating I don't think a woman light or dark should be with the guy.
I don't want a short man either. But, I got a thing for dark men.

Go see Madagascar. I made a date go see Lion King when it came out. And you be surprise how many adults are in a theater when a "kid" movie is playing.

That being walked down the aisle thing by an ex is wierd.

I was wondering what was going on with Jamie.

Haven't heard B's album, but I like her two singles.

I once thought about dating a white man becuase I have been approached a time or two by them but my desire for dark meat won't let me.
I just love black men too much.

Eb the Celeb November 11, 2008 at 11:37 AM

@Sharon - girl its just a "wonder what its like" moment that I am having in my head at the moment... i dont even date light skin bruthas so it would take a lot for me to cross over... I just love me some chocolate... hmmm... love it love it... dark skin black men are the bizness... they are truly going to be the death of me... i really have a sweet spot... the reason why Semipro has gotten away with more than most... whew if you saw his chocolate sexy hunk of a man self.. whew lawd... exiting comment box now

Mr.Slish November 11, 2008 at 11:46 AM

I swear you and I have the same ear when it comes to music...I need to send you a Slish mix @ six...

Britt November 11, 2008 at 11:46 AM

Love Jazmine Sullivan, her CD is dope, especially the song "Switch", I don't think I would have the nerve to do that. Beyonce's CD's get worse, and worse, and worse. Dangerously In Love was good, B-day was ok at best, and this one is gonna be another mess.

I see you have a shot of my crush...Robin Thicke! such a cutie!

Sexxy Luv November 11, 2008 at 12:25 PM

i don't think i will ever dip my chocolate chip cookie in Milk...it's just something i can't do. lol

let me know how it is, when you try. :)

i'll be groovin' to that play list this all this week i have some cleaning to do. lol

F.U. November 11, 2008 at 12:40 PM

I never thought I would, but I've experienced da swirl, and while I just loves me a chocolate man and nothing compares - I have to say I'm happy I know what milk in my coffee taste like.

I tried to watch The Game the other day and the whole time I was just like, ummmm da hell?

Oh and when it comes to NC boo, Semipro or whoever...I think you'll just know. Don't think too hard, accept only the best because that is what you deserve and that is what you give, just be in the moment, live your life and be true to you. Everything will fall into place as it should.

Thanks for stoppin by the blog! I'll definitely be back to yours!

Anonymous November 11, 2008 at 12:46 PM

I want one of those shirts! It's too cute! I can't wait for Erykah's 2nd album to drop! That's on my wish list. If I can remember I'll be watching Key's show tonight. Also, I like to watch cartoon movies too but, at least I have a lil sister that I can snatch up as an excuse lol

Beautifully.Conjured.Up November 11, 2008 at 12:47 PM

I'm sooooo loving that t-shirt...Always represent as a beautiful chocolate sista...

...nothing wrong with a little milk...just make sure the shit isn't sour (check out what my ex wrote me on my last post).

B November 11, 2008 at 12:55 PM

Soul Men is the funniest shit ever. Seriously. I was crying from laughing. And from seeing Bernie Mac and Issac together b/c that was a little sad.

I used to love the Game, in all it's foolishness, but you are right. It is ridiculously lame now.

And giiiirl, I'm with you. I need to get up on some milk too. We might be missin' something. LOL!

CC Solomon November 11, 2008 at 1:01 PM

OKay- so upset Beyonce's CD sucks. I like the Single Ladies song. Did you hear she wants to play Wonder Woman now?
Okay, finally been checking out Zane's show, was wondering who that man was- Bhudda huh? That show needs help with music and sound b/c it's hard to hear them talk.
Girl, I'm convinced since Obama's election black women might get more attention from "others". This white guy hit on me over the weekend and one of the first things he wanted to make known was that he voted for Obama. Two days later another white guy I went on a first date with said the same thing. Then yet another black girlfriend of mine said she experienced the same thing. Craziness.

Me November 11, 2008 at 1:01 PM

You are HILARIOUS!!! I am so glad I stopped by and I will be sure to come back! I met my hubby when I was 19 so I never tried the swirl, but I say do whatever makes you happy... Oh...and yes it is weird for Hugh to give an ex bed mate away at her wedding. What is wrong with some of these men??? Why would the groom even think that was okay?

LOVE LOVE LOVE the t-shirt!!!

QuietStorm November 11, 2008 at 1:29 PM

lol..I just wrote a post yestrday bout wantin to add a lil cream in my coffee....aint nuthin wrong w/ tryin sumthin new;)

QuietStorm November 11, 2008 at 1:44 PM

Still Patrice November 11, 2008 at 2:03 PM

i love the Jasmine Sullivan song. That and In Love with another man. Deep

I used to watch The Game. They won't be on long. I will watch Keshia Cole's show to see what foolishness Frankie ass is up to.

Like your Tee

hmmmph @ beyonce, i guess they can't all be hits.

lol @ white men. I don't know if I could go there. Just something about their skin.

KIKI November 11, 2008 at 2:19 PM

Eb...you got my cryin laughin @Beyonce's new album sucks hot sweaty monkey balls!

And I've had cream in my coffee..you aint missin out on much LOL!

Judy D. November 11, 2008 at 2:26 PM

lmao @ i am not gonna marry "one" as if its some kind of thing u just pick up, then drop... lol

beyonce--- i am sick of her. idunno wat jay z did to her- but she needs to go home to mama n papa or get a BA

A.M. November 11, 2008 at 2:34 PM

Lol oh man Eb. I don't know where to start lol. You did well. Let's see what can I identify with
1. Trust me you can go see madagascar2 w/o borrowing someone's kid lol. I saw it fri night with my best friend on 34th st. The damn movie was sold out for hrs and I had to wait on a line. However I would say 90 percent of the audience was adults, hardly any kids :). Its funny as hell, def go.

2. Hey hey hey!!! I like my Bey's album. I think everyone is all "I don't like it" because its diff. I can't wait to buy my copies lol.
3.Yea its unfair what they are doing to Palin, of course if their party had won, this all wouldn't be happening.

4.Speaking of the eagles, yep us Giants sure whooped their asses owwww!!! :)

ToshaRenelle November 11, 2008 at 2:35 PM

I'm curious about cream in my coffee, I must admit. But I know I'm too curvaceous to attract a white man. At least that's what I think.

I can't WAIT for Keyshia Cole tonight! Frankie's antics are enough to keep me ROLLIN'!

Sorry, still a sucka for The Game. Melanie and Derwin keep me going. I could care less if they stop talking about football. The Sabers sound like they a weak ass team anyway, LOL!

As far as Bey...haven't heard the new album, but I'm a Bey die hard. Even when I know her music sucks, I still buy, cause I just love her. Now her acting...I can't support that. She has a LOONNNNNGGG way to go in that dept.

ANGELINA November 11, 2008 at 3:20 PM

First I have to let you know they have Beyonce's cd on her Myspace page and it is quite uneventful. I don't know what's going on with her, but some of the songs sound like pop/country crossovers or something...it's not good. And the party/dance songs are mediocre. I'm happy I didn't waste my money on that.

I'm happy Kendra found love. It always seemed like she wasn't so into Hef lol. It's weird that he's gonna walk her down the aisle though...very strange. I bet he's paying for the wedding too.

I can't wait for Keyshia Cole's show tonight! That's real drama...it's good to see her family is changing for the better though :)

And as for the cream in the coffee, I'm from LA so you know I've dabbled into that. I can honestly say there's nothing like an intelligent black man...the white guys I dated were definitely more commitment-friendly, romantic and appreciative of me. Oh, and none of them even got close to cheating on me or playing games. I'm still addicted to chocolate though :)

Charles November 11, 2008 at 3:38 PM

Robin Thicke is a very lucky man. Yeah...I've heard the ignorant racism within the race comments before. Its a damn shame. And you not diggin the NBA?? WTH is wrong with you. Go see Madagasar...shit, I saw Wall-E with my cousin, and she's 21.

I'm interested about that new Jamie Foxx album though...his last one was fire.

-Charles

Anonymous November 11, 2008 at 3:44 PM

I definately gotta get a t-shirt!!!

hot sweaty monkey balls huh?...lol..well, that's probably the only way to describe it...I kept waiting for it to get better after every track...didn't happen..I mean, this chick is Jay-Z's wife, she needs to come harder than that

I've been thinking about putting some milk in my coffee too...hmmm..we shall see

Melody.Darlene November 11, 2008 at 3:52 PM

Oowee! what a post! hahaha!

omg and did NOT know that erykah was droppin a second album this year! thanx for puttin me up on that!

Eb the Celeb November 11, 2008 at 5:34 PM

@Slish - send me the mix

@BB- I literal cant take her CD out of rotation... switch is my jam too

@sexxyluv - "if" i try... till undecided..lol

@f.u. - thx for the kind words... i just wish it would hurry up and fall into place

@glennisha - I may wait until I go home for thanksgiving to see it... I'll have load of choices of children to take... my god daughter, nephews or step-sisters...

@beautifully.conjured - uummmm... yeah... now I will pass on dipping any milk in my chocolate

@B - Ok.. its official.. i'm going to see it now based on your recommendation

@Cat - funny stories... hmmm... I wonder if interracial statistics will go up because of Obama... I never even thought of that..lol

@Raven - thx for stopping by

@Soultress - Yes, people sleep on Mario thinking that he does teeny bopper music but his music is all MAN... his album is due out early 2009... I can't wait

@judy - lol.. I didn't mean for it to sound like that

@AM - I guess if you go late at night it should be mostly adults in the theater... so maybe I will try to find me somebody to go with

and I am all for different... as long as it doesn't smell like hot sweaty monkey balls...lol

@Angelina - I actually like Kendra the best out of all of them... she always seemed to be herself and not letting the antics of the mansion effect who she was at heart... so I am happy for her too... just dont get it...lol

I'm addicted to chocolate too...

@Charles - Sorry... NBA is doing nothing for me... still got love for my boo D. Wade though

Rich Fitzgerald November 11, 2008 at 6:10 PM

Something about your new format doesn't agree with my work computer so I have to wait till I get home to really see this. However, I did see how you basically made Keith and I the poster kids for "Old Ass Bloggers" - LOL

It's all good, I'm sure he still loves you and so do I.

Mizrepresent November 11, 2008 at 6:43 PM

I actually dated...well let 1 whiteman take me out to dinner (heck, i was hungry, a starving college student and he bought me King crab legs, so shut your mouth). Now, i'm just not into it, open to it, say for Brad Pitts or George Clooney, and Mr. Big...i might, oh and don't forget Robert Deniro, i think could catch him for real, he's old now, an i am about that age that can turn his head, lol. Okay, so what else were talking about?

12kyle November 11, 2008 at 7:30 PM

Hank Baskett is a dummmmeeeee! There's no way that I'm letting my ole lady be walked down the aisle by her ex. I don't care how old he is. Maybe Hank figured that Hef don't have enuf viagra or Cialis to keep up with her?

No NBA? Man, you don't know what you're missing. My Atlanta Hawks are 5-0, baby. We've got Boston tomorrow night. Get ya popcorn ready! LoL (mah bad)

I watched 1 episode of that Game show...it sucks.

Robin Thicke is a lucky dude

Darius T. Williams November 11, 2008 at 7:38 PM

Lord - this is waaaay too much to comment on - you know that. BUT, I'm gonna go and see Madagascar - my boo boo and I...I think - it won't be weird tho cuz I dare a bitch to look at me funny.

praise god!

wynsters the tigress November 11, 2008 at 8:07 PM

dabble away! but make sure you eventually come back home ;-)

Treasure November 11, 2008 at 8:08 PM

In case I never mentioned it before Eb...I really love this blog. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and creative randomness; also thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I appreciate you.

Barbara November 11, 2008 at 8:13 PM

Damn girl, I'm gonna have to number this response, lol.

Ok, first off, that shirt is the bomb and I think I gotta have one at some point in the near future. I felt the EXACT same way the moment that 1st fam stepped out on that stage. I swear, if Sasha or Malia would of had an afro puff I would have died and gone to heaven =).

So happy to hear that Jamie is blessing us with some more music. I was in LOVE with the last album and I can not wait to get the next one.

I'm gonna try to catch Keyshia tonight. I need to see the exact moment that Neffe made her change, if she in fact did! I am kinda mad that Keyshia closed her gap though. That's a part of what makes her HER. I hope that she did it for her and for no other reason.

And finally... I think you should go ahead and test that milk. You never know, you might find what you've been needing in your life. Sometimes it might be outside of just "us".

The F_Uitlist November 11, 2008 at 8:15 PM

I told you to come with us on Sunday, we had a bunch of kids with us. Though as funny as Madagascar was I would go by myself.

I haven't added milk to my coffee, but I've also been linked my entire life. If I wasn't though I would see what was out there. Look you could end up with a Robin Thicke, he's a cutie!

CHA CHA November 11, 2008 at 8:26 PM

LMAO at thats about all..HEE HEE!

Gurl..nooooo dont look in to the light. You dont want to dabble, there is hope girl anything is possible...B OBAMA stand UP..LOL

Trelly November 11, 2008 at 8:27 PM

Mite have to check that Soul Men sndtrk then. I love Musiq too. Loving your randomness...keep us updated...lol

Eb the Celeb November 11, 2008 at 8:32 PM

@Rich - my page is definitely slower on some browsers... its weird... sorry for that... oh and know... ya'll are just the honorary grown and sexy music men of the blog world...lol

@mizrep = I feel you.. it would take a certain type of whit dude for me to go there... not just no tom, dick, or harry...lol

@jane - my grandmother on my dad side would too... she might cuss him out and most definitely would give him the side eye at thanksgiving... but my mom's side is so mixed all up and my maternal grandmother is so sweet and loving she wouldn't care

@treasure -awweee thx for the love missy

@ms. bar b- girl you crazy talking about afro puffs... you know they stopped putting the girls in braids and corn rolls as soon as he got the democratic nomination.. we couldnt scare the white people that soon...lol

@F*ck it - No fo real... I was gon call you to see what time. That's how back I wanted to see it...I was gon come all the way to BK... but bright and early on sunday.. Ms. Red decided to pay me a visit and it was a wrap for anything the rest of that day...

Xcentric Pryncess November 11, 2008 at 8:39 PM

you went all Eclectik Relaxation with this post, now I am gonna have to keep going back and forth to remember what you said, whew...

Yayyyy for chocolate women!!!!

I hate generalizations, especially about black people. I heard that ligh skinned females are too high maintanence, does that mean that I am low maintenance, like a project apartment because I am dark? Nigga please.

The whole playmate thing baffles me, I guess that men do marry the whore.

It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday-it's hard to let go of someone, especially when youve seen the good part of them...you'll know though.

As far as getting married, I rather do it when I am ready and I think I would have been a whack wife at 23.

Eb the Celeb November 11, 2008 at 8:45 PM

@poca - dead and dont look into the light...lol

@xcentric - well thx for the compliment... I will never be as good as E with the randomness but I am happy to have been compared

quarter-life-crisis November 11, 2008 at 8:59 PM

I have to get a shirt like that!! I have been screaming that since he won.

With regards to Kendra. You know she was there for the show. He (meaning Hugh) was and probably is just a father figure and paycheck. Now that she found a NFL player. Best of both worlds (money and sex).

Me and my ex made a pact that if we were not married by 35 we would get married. However I must have been in a really lonely state at that time because even though we are close friends now. Men become exes for a reason. I just do not have the heart to tell him that its not going to happen!!

Is it weird that I could only date a white boy if he had swagger like Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake, Jon B, or the dude from the Barbershop movies? LOL

Eb the Celeb November 11, 2008 at 9:07 PM

@quarterlife - why did I just say that in my latest article that I wrote for Mahogany Butterfly

I said in order for me to go there he would have to have style like Mark Ronson, moves like Justin Timberlake, Swag like Channing Tatum, and charm like Robin Thicke

Miss Foxxy November 11, 2008 at 9:22 PM

ewww @ hefner walking kendra down the aisle.. are they forreals? i never liked kendra that much.. she rubs me the wrong way for some reason.. maybe it's her laugh or just her..

i missed last week's episode of "the game".. you right tho they haven't talked about football this season at all! the only thing keeping me watching is that i wanna know what the hell is gonna happen w/ melanie and derwin and that damn broad he knocked up.

i love robin thicke and his girl [damn i can't remember her name].. i think they make a gorgeous couple. i can only think of 2 white boys i'd more than "dabble" with.. it would be channing tatum [from step it up] and brady quinn. mmmmmmmmm..

Keith November 11, 2008 at 9:36 PM

Hey Eb, thanx for the Anthony Hamilton track...I really liked it.

I haven't watched an NBA game yet
either..and from the way things are going for the Sixers, there is not much reason for me to..Although I Like the Hornets and the Celtics and the Lakers and the Pistons. Too much other stuff has been going on..Obama, Football,
Baseball,etc..

Hank Baskett is out there...I thought that was weird too..but hey
it's not just any old guy off the street..that's Hef...

I just had a feeling that Beyonce's third effort might just tank..I don't know why.

Stop by my blog tomorrow, I just wrote a post about Drama proofing
our relationships that you might feel a little bit.

1/3 November 11, 2008 at 9:55 PM

I want to see Madagascar 2 too!! Im a big kid tho. id see it by myself...or round up one of my 5 neices or nephews lol

I'm really digging that quote! kinda describing my life right now...

Keyshia cole's show saved BET from being a complete disaster. it made me respect her a lil more tho

I respect women that date outside there race...i havent been brave enough to do so..iunno i just really love black men LOL well the one im with now anyway:-)

dejanae November 11, 2008 at 11:00 PM

Suite B November 11, 2008 at 11:09 PM

cherry's kid November 11, 2008 at 11:32 PM

Few Redeeming Qualities.... November 12, 2008 at 12:24 AM

i am definately jealous about that foreign exchange concert. damn, i need to transplant myself in nyc. and i am definately hating that part about cream in your coffee. sistas with white men, is really getting out of hand, i love y'all too much......

Organized Noise November 12, 2008 at 8:33 AM

I went to see "Madagascar II" yesterday. Took my little cousin who just turned nine (she was upset because she wanted to see "High School Musical"). It was ok, but not hilarious.

Anonymous November 12, 2008 at 9:14 AM

I'm all late. I hate being comment number 294840. LOL

I told my friend the same thing about The Game. I wouldn't be surprise if this is the last season. I believe the network set up The Game and Everybody Hates Chris for failure by putting it on Friday nights. I always catch the episodes on the net b/c I never remember to watch it on Friday nights.

Milk in my coffee isn't for me. I need some brown skin up against my brown skin.

dessex November 12, 2008 at 10:36 AM

I love mo better blues. That's one of my fav spike lee movies.

The Game has weak since the start of the second season.

I love me some Badu and Anthony Hamilton.

I heard the Beyonce joint it wasn't that bad but as a fan of her's I am a bit dissappointed

TravelDiva November 12, 2008 at 1:08 PM

Great post!

Love the T-shirt.

I don't know what happened to the Game this season. But the previews last week looked like it was getting back on track.

LOL on milk in your coffee. I ain't mad at you!

RITZY November 12, 2008 at 1:27 PM

this was very entertaining i felt like i was reading a magazine! O, and i am sooo feel'n Jazmine Sullivan!

kayellejaye November 12, 2008 at 1:59 PM

Mom just gave me the OK to bring a white boy home. The search is on!

RealHustla November 12, 2008 at 2:35 PM

Wow, that was a lot to ponder. Now I'm tired, LOL.

MsKayotic November 12, 2008 at 2:54 PM

Girl...I think you're right about Hank...I don't think that's even cool. If he like it then I love it.

As for the milk in your coffee, I feel we shouldn't limit ourselves just because we are black women. You do what you do. I know you want the black man just like I do but if a white man can offer you something and it's RIGHT for you then you should go for it. You're the one who has to live with it.

RunGirl. November 12, 2008 at 3:27 PM

The Game is so very lame these days.

LOVE all the great R&B that is coming out over the next 50 days.

Is Beyonce's album really wack? I was hoping that it wasn't, but I keep hearing that it is. Shame taht I will still buy it.

Foreign Exchange - Leave it all Behind is one of the best albums released in the last 3 years. It stays on rotation.

Iam sooo jealous of hte concerts you are going too. Now that I dont live in DC anymore, no chance of seeing any of those shows.

Oh and like the Michelle Obama shirt

princessdominique November 12, 2008 at 3:44 PM

You're right you're all over the place but I don't think you need a kid to see an animated flick and YAYYYYYY to Jamie Foxx. Waiting on the album. Thanks for the Beyonce heads up. Money is too precious to waste on wackness.

n0days0ff November 12, 2008 at 4:27 PM

Damn eb you bout to start hanging with white boys now?

suga November 12, 2008 at 5:41 PM

I already done said that I'm getting me a Chad Wykowski in 2009. And a Pedro Martinez.

I love "the game" but i keep missing it because...i mean...what young beautiful black woman is home on friday nights to watch tv? lmao i hate that they changed the day that it comes on but luckily the episodes show up on youtube.

Yes, Bey's album sucks. She needs to do that sasha fierce crap over pronto!!

OG, The Original Glamazon November 12, 2008 at 5:46 PM

so much what do I want to respond to.

Love the shirt really cute!

Kendra being given away by Heff, I think when you are in an open realtionhip its about loving that person, it makes the retionship different from most. Or even if you weren't in an open relationship if you two are grow enough then youcan do that. Plus the security of your mate has to do with it. I mean they are close and I am sure Hank got the rules of palymate before he even got in deep with Kendra. Like Hugh made me the millionaire I am today we're a package.

I love the new Anthony H single.

I love Frankie. I also love the how much the whole family has grown since the 1st season. Can't wait.

Well now that my president is black I need to get me a blue lambo right?

Later Chica!

Ms.Seven Supa Sized November 12, 2008 at 7:25 PM

Why is Semipro still in the picture...?

Jewelry Rockstar November 12, 2008 at 7:38 PM

I think you should try those short black men. As far as my experience goes, your friend is right. I'm married now for many years, so it doesn't apply to me now...but shouldn't somebody invent a D*ck measurement device, so you'll know whether to waste you time or not. LOL! I know I'm wrong.

Yea Erykah is back!

Eb the Celeb November 12, 2008 at 8:17 PM

@Suga - Dead at your Chad Wykowski And Pedro Martinez.

@Seven - Becuz I LIKE HIM!

@OG - Frankie was an absolute trip last night... whew... I swear she makes the show worth watching...

@jewelry rockstar - I dont care wht short men are packing... I aint trying... but they should have a stamp on their forehead or something... I've always said that... I mean they can see how big our ass and titties are before indulging so we should be able to see what their dick looks like.

blkbutterfly November 12, 2008 at 9:43 PM

lol @ making sure you're not missing something. i'm still not able to get on that band wagon.

you're in for a treat w/ the Maxwell concert. he was in Houston last weekend and turned us out! :-)

MBB Founder and Editor Denene Millner November 13, 2008 at 9:36 AM

OOOHH--I just listened to your Teedra Moses pick... dayum! I haven't heard a song like THAT in a looooong time. Incredible... kinda reminds me of Tweet... beautiful voice, great lyrics. Thanks for hipping us to that...

Erykah is the fire--you're going to LOVE that concert. She's a little weird, but in a veeery good way.

And I'm still turned out from the last Maxwell concert I saw--about 8 years ago. The man makes you want to do things...

Shy November 13, 2008 at 9:39 PM

Awesome post....Imma need to go back through and re-read/re-check some stuff out...I'm pressed for time at the moment.

But Soul Men was good. I enjoyed it! Imma miss Bernie...Oh and Samuel L played the hell out of his part!

Great Post, Eb!

Sha Boogie November 14, 2008 at 1:51 PM

We are totally trying to get married in the same year! lol

Yeah..that Hef marriage thing is..weird. Even though I think the 'relationship' issa a sham.

Vee November 14, 2008 at 2:02 PM

"The show the GAME is starting to get real lame real fast."

you aint NEVER LIED!!!

and Robin Thicke's wife (Paula Patton) is SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!

Unknown November 15, 2008 at 11:04 PM

What up! yeah the Game is getting kinda lame but I gotta stick with it cuz I'm addicted (just like I am to Y & R's lameness) & I do a recap so people expect me to watch. ugghh. I can't believe the year's almost over too!! getting closer to my bday on Dec 31st!!

Torie Michelle November 16, 2008 at 1:26 AM

I am SO disappointed in this season of The Game. There's been about three or four episodes of Mel and Derwin having the exact same foolish argument. I know it has to be ending soon.

I don't understand the obsession with marriage. If it doesn't happen, why run off to Vegas with a friend? lol I dunno...I just don't get it.

haha @ trying milk in your coffee to make sure you aren't missing anything. i tried half and half in my cocoa and i had been missing something :-P

Eb the Celeb November 16, 2008 at 3:31 AM

@blkbutterfly - I love my chocolate so I dont want to give that up... just try something a little different out... dont plan on hanging on to it at all... just dabble...lol

@denene - glad you like my musical choices... Teedra is my girl!

@shy - I actually just walked in the door from seeing Soul Men, it was soooooooo funny... I wasnt expecting that at all... definitely a good movie and the tribute they did at the end for Bernie and Isaac was so sweet. They will truly be missed

@veronica, torie, and sincere - I actually liked the episode this past friday... they finally broke up... I mean we all knew that was caming but they just kept dragging it on... now I'm hoping it will get better since that drama is finally over

@sincere - that's my brother's birthday... take a shot for him on that night... he will be spending it over in Iraq

@torie - I'm not obsessed with marriage at all... I know I am not ready for it right now... that whole thing between me and my boy is a joke... I could never marry him... he's like my brother so that would almost be incest... but on the real I just feel like at that point in my life I will be ready. I mean I will be 31. I want to start a family around 33-34 and I want to have my hubby to myself for a couple years before I start popping out babies... so I know that time will be right for me... now I just gotta find my love... less than 4 years to do it too.

Elise November 17, 2008 at 11:34 AM
