Changing for the opposite sex

How many out there have? I'm sure we all have. Even if its something as simple as putting on a push-up bra before going to the club. You know that change was because you wanted to catch the eye of a certain somebody when you went out. So many times, we think its a bad thing to change. I dont necessarily think that's always the case. Sometimes its good to change things about ourselves in a relationship. The key though is for that change to be your choice and solely your choice. You can't change anyone to be what you want them to be. How many times, my fellow RBW's have we been hurt trying to change a man. He has to make that decision on his own. Either way, the conversation was brought in my head by the new Jaheim song "I've changed" feat. Keyshia Cole. It will be on his new album "The makings of a man" due out December 18th. Click on the pic to listen and make sure you pick up the album when it drops. Ja never disappoints!

Change is good when its something you're doing for you. A person shouldn't try to change themselves to just please another person because pleasing folks is hard to do.

Good posts.

You know what...that is true. Any kind of change should be your choice and no one elses.

I can't stand when people think they can change a man. In what damn world?!? You need to wake up because your pussy got you blinded.

Change should always be a product of your own mind. Not anyone elses. Good post!

Trying to change someone you are involved with is a waste of time and energy. My mother taught me early on that people will not change unless they are ready to. Prime example: I am a very sarcastic person that curses a bit much (not every other word is an obscenity tho...). My extold me she didn't like the fact was sarcastic (it really is genetic :)) and the fact that I swore so much...I cut back on the swearing for her, but the sarcasm was there to stay. She's long gone (thank god!) but my sarcasm will be with me forever. real talk.
