So I'm back. Had a great time in Greensboro, NC last tues-thurs Biggups to my 102 Jamz fam that hooked me up with loads of free music, then headed back to ATL on Friday for my lil cousin's high school graduation. Saturday was my lil cuz Sam's birthday (the chocolate one that all the blog ladies were crushing on) so we hit up the club scene in ATL. Sunday we cooked out and my girl Gabi's crib, and Monday we cooked out at my cousin Annette's crib. So between all the partying (which constitutes immense consumption of alcohol) and all the good eating I did, I think I gained about 20 pounds during my tenure. It's non-negotiable that I have to get back in the gym heavy if I am going to have any chance of going to the shore this summer.

Anyway, let's talk about my horrible day yesterday. First I have to mention that something flew off this damn truck in front of me and cracked the windshield of the rental car I was driving. UGH!

So I get my last dose of Bojangles yesterday morning before I head to the airport since I probably wont be in the south for a while and its one of my fav spots when I am there. Arrive at the airport around 1pm for my 2:45 flight back to NYC. When I checking in the attendant tells me my flight is delayed until 3:55. OK, no prob... got an extra hour to surf the net and jam to my iPod at the gate. Security was a flash... so everything was all good.

I get to my gate... on the laptop... catching up on some emails and myspace, when they come over the loud speaker that there is horrid weather in Dallas where our plane is coming from and will let us know when our plane will be able to take off from Dallas. Long story short. We didn't start boarding our plane until 5:30. I was suppose to land in NYC at 5pm.

But no worries... ish happens. all flights cant go as planned. Why as soon as we get on the damn runway air traffic contacts the plane saying a storm is moving threw the NY area and no planes are going in or out of any of the NY airports. We sat on that damn runway until 8pm until they finally let us take off. I hadn't eaten anything but that damn Bojangles all day and do you know they ain't have not a bit of peanuts or crackers or trail mix on that damn plane. I coulda shot shot somebody.

Now around 7 pm I got the urge to tinkle. But I don't tinkle on planes. Never have and never will. So I am sitting on this damn plane holding my urine and starving at the same time. Trust, not a good combination. We finally arrive in NYC around 10:15. I rush off the plane to tinkle and when I arrive... guess who decides to pay me a visit. Ms. Red. I was like damn... wasn't that ish just on. May such a long azz month that I done had the damn thing twice. That should really be against the code of law or something... dammit.

The best part of my day was getting down to baggage claim and they had the Lakers game on the screens while we waited for our luggage. Got home a lil after 11 and the only thing still open around the crib to eat was chinese. Ordered some chicken lo mein, finished watching the game... and went to sleep.


Hope all your return travels went a lot better than mine.

Anywho... since I am seeing RED... I am in a little bit of a bitchy mood I must admit... but I got some stuff I want to get off my chest about MAN B*TCHES... so look for that post soon.
