This go round its a little different. Terrence Howard is scheduled to play "Brick" but has some contractual obligations that will take him off broadway from April 15 - May 22. At that time Boris Kodjoe will be taking over the role. I am so torn. I love both of them. So I'm leaving it up to my blog fam to let me know who I should see as "Brick"
Also here is some video of the cast

me personally.. I would see terrence howard. more pure of an actor and more emotion to me. kudjoe seems to push it sometimes while howard comes off smooother..
just my opinion
I like boris, but I think Terrence is a better actor and I think he would play the heck out of the role of Brick.
I think Terrance Howard is a much better actor. I'd go see him. Boris isn't nearly as believable.
It's like this...Howard is like Marion Barber and Boris is like Julius Jones. Haaaaaa! Does that help?
I'd see Howard. Thats my boy and he's really gotten a chance as of late to show people that he's a great actor. I remember him on that show on UPN Sparks and Sparks. Hhahahaha...the memories...
Although Boris is definitely easy on the eyes....I'd go see Terrance in the role. He has the passion and conviction that is needed for the role.
I agree with everyone but I have to say to ieisha that Terrance Howard is very easy on the eyes too. I mean, he looks good to me - a little mean looking but fine nonetheless.
Terrance all day everyday!!!!
My vote is for Terrance - every role I've seen him in has rocked. That church movie Boris was in leaves much to be imagined..
everyone has expressed my sentiments....but i would go to see the prettiness that is boris as well.
damn... why the hell boris K.. look too much like the ex.. jeez
uuuummmmm..... excuse me koffee dyme but if you have an EX that looks like Boris please throw him my way... I mean he is an EX so you done with him right???
I say go see Boris. He would keep my attention lol
I've actually already seen it...Terence did a great job. I've never seen Boris do anything with a lot of range...but yeah he's nice to look at...oh yeah Terence's daughter is in the play as well
I guess Mr. Hard Out Here On A Pimp is the winner. You could go see both and give us a review.
C mon this a no brainer....Why you even ask this question...lol
Yup...what everybody 'cept 1/3 said!
im gonna have to roll with boris on this one.
and 2 let u know, i made my decision based entirely on how super-fine i think boris is.
*smile*
i haven't been a fan of t.h. since the best man.

well if you want to see the better actor, i say terrence. if you want to see one of the hottest black men EVER, well....you know.
ha
i guess its terrence then
but u wont be hurtin if u catch Boris
Definitely gotta go with Terrence Howard. He can actually act unlike that Boris dude.
I love ur blog cos i always get my feel of eye candy...black guys are just sooooo hot...
You should see both!! lol. Nah, prob Terrance.
Even though I'd stab my own mami in the foot to share air space with Boris' fine self, I agree with the others that Terrance seems like the better actor.
Quietly, I might have to see this play twice...
give boris a chance!
we know what terrance can do.
-karrie b.
too easy. boris. who cares who acts better. he looks better.
BORIS ALL DAY...although Terrance can play the guitar strings with his tongue ....oh what? Wrong subject?...MY BAD!
My vote it for Terrance, there's something about him. Those green-hazel eyes do something to me.
It is very interesting. When I think of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof I don't think of black folks. Shame on me. I saw the Color Purple, with Fantasia, when me and my sisters were in New York last year. I thought it was ggod. I must say that if I lived in New York, I'd probably go to a Broadway show at least once a month.
I'd wait for T.Howard
He is SUPER talented as an actor.
He is raw and just amazing to watch.
Terrence seems like the better actor so far, but I'd go for Boris who's talent is still emerging. Plus, he's a super-hottie.
