I have to admit, that initially I wasn't a fan of yours. In the first couple seasons you seemed to be a trouble maker that had no rhyme or reason. Then the whole "you being gay" thing just put me over the top. But then again, that made your character so much more real because I know their are some true street cats that are the same way. Then around the time when you revealed that there was no shooting on sundays, I came to realize that you did have a heart, and was even amused that a gangsta could have rules to the game. Then the end of season 3 you killed my boo Stringer. Even though I know he deserved to go, part of me will never forgive you for that. Fast forward to this final season and I thought for sure you would be the last man standing. You were suppose to be that calm in the storm that took out Marlo. But now your gone...and in a way that only the Wire writers could have fathomed.I mean, I know everyone can't go out the super gangsta way like Stringer and Bodie, but damn... by a kid. I thought you would have never underestimated anyone. But when you looked to your right and saw that little nig, you let your guard down. Thus the reason for your demise. You will be missed...RIP Omar.

Now when it comes to the actor, Michael K. Williams, has been acting his ass off this entire season. Especially as of late when he jumped out that window. You could feel the pain when he was bandaging himself up. Those tears were the realest I've seen from an actor in a minute. Then he had that limp down packed throughout the block. My loyal readers know I had the chance to meet him a couple weeks ago, but for the new-comers I am going to re-post the pic... I can't wait to see you in other roles.
Now as for the future of the Wire, my prediction now is that the police are finally going to just catch up with Marlo and that will be the series' end like they did Avon at the end of season 3. I really wanted Marlo to die, but now that Omar is gone I cant even imagine who the shooter would be. Maybe Mike.

Ha. This was what I was talking about when I said something happened to Omar in the first post with that picture... This is Caesar Cannon btw. I was mad. I knew he was going to die, but I thought it would at least be after he knocked off either chris or snoop first, though... shame
Seeing that last night thru me completely off. I had a feeling that lil kid was going to try something, he trying to be too hard for his own good. I didn't think he would take down Omar though, I guess it's fitting since nobody else could get the drop on him.
Unfortunately...I accidentally ran across a spoiler and knew how he died before I watched it last night:-(
I truly thought he would make it to the last episode...but I've been saying all season that I think Michael will be the last man standing.

While I hated seeing Omar go out like that it shows that life is just a vicious circle. Omar got offed by a future Marlo. He was killed by a snot nosed kid who just last week didn't know who he was. If he didn't know him, he damn sure wasn't scared of him.

MAN!!! I was sooooo shocked that they took Omar out like that!!! Never expected it from a little kid!!! I was hoping for a shoot out between him and Marlo.

Now I think Marlo's whole operation is gonna get shut down...I think Mike is gonna take out Snoop...Chris is about to get taken in for something. But yeah Mike is probably gonna be the last man standing.

Omar turbed into my favorite character on tv period! I never thought that a gay character would be at the top of my list, but there he is. Mike Williams is definitely that actor. His Omar character almost makes me forgive him for playing that Officer in the Trapped in the Closet videos. lol
I think Omar is gonna go out on top for the finale. I just don't see them making anything stick on him. Hell, I hope I'm wrong

I was sorry to see Omar go. He was kind of a Robin Hood like character, and to see him taken out by a disrepectful, scared little kid - terrible! I've already seen next week's show, so I only have one episode left. It breaks my heart. I feel like there is so much story left to tell.

Omg..Eb I didn't know you were a WIRE junkie! I was so pissed that he went out like that without even getting to pinch that fool Marlo. I think they had Omar shoot his last scene without the limp as a tribute to his character. They wanted to show him walking tall like the fans remember...Look forward to seeing his future work too..
I've given up on watching the rest of the season since last week watching Omar's demise On Demand. I uploaded the "Omar Hits Barksdale Stash House" video posted here to YouTube. I love Omar and what he stood for, so I'm just gonna keep that video and the like and remember the good times. **Yes, I'm dramatical.**
