The Answers....

So I didn't get as many questions as I thought I would. I guess my sarcasm scared the haters away. Thanks for those that had my back though. The post really wasn't about second guessing myself, or explaining myself, it was more of a little reverse psychology. Although, I still ain't that deep!!! LOL!!! But anyway, here are the answers:

Swag
I dont think I really have a favorite famous person that I've met, but ones that I've enjoyed meeting were:Billy Dee..because he kept calling me a baby...and not baby like sweetie, baby like I have similac on my breath. For some reason he couldn't believe that I knew who he was and had seen movies that he'd been in.
50 cent because I was a huge fan of his back then. Working in radio is weird because you like certain artists and then they come to the station and their attitudes are the worst so that reflects on how you view their music from that point on. I was literally praying that he wouldn't be an ass, and he was a pleasant surprise. The sweetest, nicest person that you will ever meet. He's really smart, and really attentive. He asked me to write down the names of everyone that worked at the station so he could sign glossies for all of them. While I was writing the names down I felt him watching me but didn't want to look up. He finally said, "Your left-handed, I'm left-handed too." It was weird but refreshing at the same time that it was something so simple. Then at the concert that night I was in the front row and he gave me a shout out. Then on top of that he visited the station 2 or 3 more times before I left and he remembered my name. Little stuff like that shows he has a huge appreciation for radio. Some artists have lost that appreciation and feel like radio promo tours are beneath them.
D. Wade. This one is for Skinny just because I know she will be jealous... Sorry girl...LOL!
Which is a perfect segue to Chris Tucker who I met him during the NBA finals when the Heat beat the MAVS. He is such a sweetie, but it was weird because you want these type of people to be funny all the time. I was so tempted to ask him to say just one line from friday... but I restrained myself.
Speaking of comedy though, the funniest dudes I've ever met would hands down have to be the Ying Yang Twins. I could not stop laughing. When I say they act just as silly as their music sounds... take that literally.

What inspires me is a hard question. I am goofy most of the time and truly enjoy laughing so I really don't get into all that serious anguish and worry a lot about getting to that next level because I have faith that it will come in due time. If I had to say something though it would hands down be my mother. She raised 5 of us, was cheated on by her first husband, married a couple guys after that, 1 of which ended because of domestic violence, the other was just an ass, and then last year she re-married her first husband. Her journey for love, and still being able to raise strong, educated children that aren't a menace to society. Just knowing the many things she has gone threw in her life, and the dreams that she had that never came true because she had me at 17. My mom definitely inspires me more than anything. Almost everything I do is for her. She wants to open her own christian bookstore/cafe and I hope I'll be blessed to buy one for her one day.

Ok, So I am the rare kind when it comes to these things. I could care less about the wedding. I am all about the reception. I am ready to party, celebrate, I am so not big on all the big dress, walking down the aisle, throwing the rice, and jumping over the broom type of chick. But my family would kill me if I didn't have a wedding... I saw 2 of the most beautiful weddings on the beach when I was in Hawaii... so its official that my wedding will definitely be on the beach in some exotic place. Maybe even hawaii. Something very small though, kinda how Martin and Gina's wedding was. But I do want to come down to Joe singing a duet of Thank God I found you. In the original he did a duet with Mariah Carey, but I can pass on that broad, would rather have Tweet or Teedra Moses sing it alongside JOE. Also, I know its cheezy and an old song, but I want our first dance at the reception to be Tony Terry With you. That's all I got.

I definitely think I function better as a bachelorette, but I think that's just because its easier to just be selfish and only care about yourself then to have to fathom carrying about someone else just as much as you care about yourself. It was extremely hard being in school, working, and trying to have a social life, so I feel now I am ready for it if the chance to be in a relationship presented itself... where I would be able to balance it all.

Who said that Celebrities push up on me. I don't give off that vibe that I would be remotely interested so most don't approach me. They usually ask someone else like a teenager... whazup with that Eb chick. But I respect that because they have to do their research. Do you know that the NFL will do background checks and everything for their players. They can find out anything they want to know about a chick, from how many other players they have slept with to their credit score. But back to the point since I know you are going to say I didn't answer the question, no one has blatantly tried to holla. Dudes have flirted but that's in their natural nature. I never flirted back with someone I didn't know. But once you've worked with a guy a couple times, you don't over-think it so much and you treat them like their any other guy. I had a player who is a good friend of mine recently tell me to stop putting them on a pedestal, and to treat them like any other dude, that I shouldn't restrain myself from flirting just to stay professional. But I ain't buying that, I know how much they talk about chicks, more than chicks talk about them, my career is too important to me to even slightly engage them.

Having my own management company. I want to manage athletes and musicians. So sort of like Violator's Mona Scott but with athletes too. Basically doing all their marketing and PR... I think working on both sides of the business I would be very successful at it... plus it would give me an opportunity to be fully submerged in both my passions in music and sports. Get ready for Jonesin' Enterprises. I just got the spec for my website. I will let everyone know when it is up and running.MsPuddin
The whole Renaissance Black Woman thing is about being multi-dimensional and having an everchanging vigor for life as well as interests. Some people define themselves as one particular thing, they are a lawyer or they are a stay at home mom; they are a republican or they are a vegan. I don't define myself as one particular thing and don't think that I could even if I tried. I got the term from my favorite movie of all time Love Jones and wrote a post about it a while back when a hater pissed me off... You can check it out here.

Purple is my grandmother's favorite color so I gravitated towards it very young. and no I cant stand grape drink. I like red...LOL!

Seriously, I would go to Africa with Oprah to see her school for girls. I really am not a big Oprah fan, but I am all about educating little black girls and letting them know their worth. Especially at a time when all they see on television is I love new york, or a chick shaking her ass in a video. They don't have the Claire Huxtables and such that we had on tv growing up. They don't have a diverse range of black female characters on TV... so I definitely would take a trip to Africa with the O... and sidebar.. why does she have to be on every damn cover of her magazine... I mean for real... I know she struggled with being insecure growing up and feeling ugly, but now that you think your cute you are the only one worthy of being on your mag... Dang!

I am ready to settle down, just haven't found the right lad worthy of me settling down for. I know I come off as sort of a pimp, but I am really a romantic at heart. When you truly have my heart, a lot of men can't even handle the love I have to give and the realness and trueness I have with a man that is real and true to me.

I honestly can't even remember... as long as its not blatantly ignorant your usually good. Humor is what gets me so even if its something that makes absolutely no sense, if you make me laugh that can at least get me to tell you my real name and not the decoy.

This is a weird question because I don't think your appearance makes you sexy... I think your swag makes you sexy... so an average guy can be sexy... so I'm going with him since he can also lay the pipe.

Fallen Angel
Hands down, Juvenile... whew... actually his whole body wreaked. He walked in the station smelling like a certain plant that certain people like to smoke and then had the nerve to try and spray some cologne on top of that mess. I almost passed out.

The female lead would most likely be Tasha Smith. Just because everybody and they mama was calling me saying I act just like her character in Why Did I get married? male lead would definitely be Idris Elba... and "I ain't that deep" so I guess the title would be Renaissance Black Woman.

Epsilonicus
I would definitely like to be the coach of a NFL team. That is truly a dream of mine to be the first female coach of a NFL team. I know its far fetched because I don't even know if a woman has ever coached a college and high school team, but if I had the chance, I would definitely do it.

Eclectik
This is why I love you E... random questions...
My first post was my favorite post. Thus the reason I also copied it and put it in my sidebar so that other RBW's that come visit for the first time can know the first steps towards making their dreams come true.

My shower curtain is black and silver (so what does that say about me?)

Uh - No because I like all the pork in my bacon.

My eyelashes were real before I went to Hawaii... but I got some extensions before I left to try to get the whole exotic look thing going on... you likey??? or should I just go back to my natural lashes... and add the mascara.

Well after the tantrum Tyra when she spazzed on Tiffany on America's Next Top Model, I thought that she would win... but after that recent picture released of Rihanna arguing with Jay-Z at the grammy party... especially after that video of jay mooshing that chick and her knowing that he will put his hands on a woman...Photobucket I definitely think that Rihanna will prevail as the champion for the forehead head butt challenge.

Thanks everybody for participating. The questions were all great, and really made me think.
PS - Rashan Jamal, I am so disappointed that you didn't ask anything. I thought for sure I was going to get a thrilling, thought provoking question from you.

@Don - I saw your last question after I posted and I dont feel like editing it so I am going to say:

Mavericks vs Warriors

Just because the Warriors are going to come as close as they've ever come to greatness. And I am tired of looking at fat, nasty, sweaty, out of shape Shaq... no matter what uniform he has on.

I wondered if any do, and what did you do if they did. I wonder because you be around so many and just wanted your viewpoint.

No, I didn't know about the background check. That's real though. Especially in these days and times.

In those times where you flirted back with someone, what happened? I like how you dodged that...Eb the Politican. lol.

Don February 22, 2008 at 3:13 PM

@ ebonne: I like that picture of you and your mom. I remember the interview you did with D Wade too.

Brianna February 22, 2008 at 11:05 PM

How fun is this post! I loved that you included pictures...probably because I happen to be a picture fanatic myself and also because I have a huge not so secret crush on D. Wade. Yummy.

Anonymous February 23, 2008 at 8:46 AM

Girl, you and D. Wade look mighty attractive together. Y'all compliment each other beautifully:-)

Eb the Celeb February 23, 2008 at 7:29 PM

@ Don- OK... you really did not have to copy and paste my whole answer... I typed it remember... so I know what it said... with ya nosey self... I knew you were going to ask a follow-up question... I did not dodge anything... Like I said, I only flirt with guys that I know like that... so they know that I'm just messing with them and have no intentions on advancing on it. Sorta kinda how I do you... I flirt with you on occasion but would never go as far to being one of your blog groupies and trying to jump ya bones.

@Brianna - Do I have another person I am going to have to fight for my boo...lol joking!

@Jewells - Thx 4 that... maybe now Skinny and Brianna will give up the chances they thought they may have had... cuz its all about me...LOL!

James Tubman February 23, 2008 at 7:58 PM

Don February 24, 2008 at 1:44 AM

Yeah, I thought about that after I published the comment. But guess what? We'll both live through it.

I think you are cool people, Eb. You have an edge about yourself that works for me. I respect you.

Unless you cross me. lol.

Don February 24, 2008 at 1:45 AM

And I guess I have to ask this question, bluntly...

Have you ever slept with a celebrity?

kit von b. February 25, 2008 at 9:46 PM

i often fantasize about having crumpettes and tea with oprah...
