No Longer PUSH... its Precious... but its coming...

I wrote about the Independent Film a while back and how there wasn't enough funding to bring it to the big screen. Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey came through on their promise to fund the project and now we have an official trailer.

This is going to be a gooooooooooood one. It will be in theaters November 6, 2009

I LOVE the book. I just got done re-reading it for like the 20th time last week. I am so mad though that the movie doesn't come out until Nov! UGH!

Can't wait.

I'm proud of Mo'Nique. Looks like she really stepped outside her "Parkers" box and played the hell out of her character.

I read this book probably about 10 years ago. It was an excellent read, and I'm proud of Mo'Nique in her role as that crazy fucked up ass mother; the trailer looks boss. I'm sure the movie wont be as brutal as the book... if anyone out there hasn't read the book, DO IT. I read it so long ago and I remember everything about it.
