How can you be that drunk?

Anyone who knows me knows that I know my limit. I always whisper to someone that I know "I'm crossing over to the dark side" and then I'm out. Whether its to hang out in a car until the rest of the party is ready to leave, or whether I'm hopping in a cab to head home.... I always know. Many have seen me tipsy... I turn into the life of the party, but no one has ever seen me fall all over the place or my head in a toilet or sewer throwing up. I always leave before it gets to that point so I don't understand how others, even in a drunken state, allow that to happen.

The other night when I was out, sitting down chilling, some chick was so drunk she fell in my lap. Yes whole body was on my lap. I was so aggravated I left the spot. She stepped on my foot something major when she tried to get up and by that point I was beyond pissed.

Now... there are a couple exceptions to the rule. Birthdays of course you are given a pass to be drunk out of your mind.

Remember...there is a thin line btwn liquor causing u to do something u want 2 do but don't have the guts 2 do sober & u doing something u regret.

Sine I left college my drinking has been kept to a minimum...and I would never get to that point of falling over...except once. I just remember I was praying to God that the room would stop spinning...and that was the last time I ever drank like that. Now, its a one n done thing.

How've you been Eb??

Damn. Yeah, that's a hot ass mess. People like "these two" and the chick that you experienced are always etched in my mind when I drink. For that reason I NEVER get drunk. Uh uh, can't do it. I like to be in control, and besides, that shit just ain't cute. I think the "pissy drunk" stage should be left for home.

I'm glad you emphasized that bdays are an exception. Otherwise I'd have to hide my face in shame!! lol

That kinda tomfoolery was when I was a drinking novice(early college years). Now I definitely know my limits and refuse to act a fool like that in public.

I hate hangovers with a passion. They make me feel so ignorant. I don't see how taking yourself that far can be fun.

This is why you enlist the help of friends to get you through. But clearly, from the pic, her friend is in the same predicament. That's nuts.

But as they say... Let the good times roll... even if you end up on the floor and on someone's blog. LOL

Never mind that a woman should never be that drunk in a strange place. Thats just not a ggod look for anybody, your supposed to enjoy the buzz not pass out from it. But it took me awhile to get that down right.
