Thought to Ponder : Emotions... the react!

It's so funny how you are taught to hide emotions. No emotions are wrong. You should never feel bad about the way you feel. It's how you react to those emotions that can be judged as right or wrong or sane or crazy. The reason I love this diagram so much.

It's so true. Men are just as emotional as women are... it's just the way they react to their emotions is so different.

I love a person that is making themselves un-lovable. So crazy to me. It's different when you're dealing with someone that just doesn't love you back. That's easier to deal with. But loving someone who expresses that same love and admiration in one hand and then like a light switch turns it off and makes it extremely hard to love them back right when they know they have all your love is extremely hard.

It's not the typical man pushing you away because he's second guessing his feelings. It's the man who wants you to exist because he sees the greatness in you but has so much going on in his world that he makes it hard to co-exist.

Someone said the key to love is inspiring a man's emotions. I'm exhausted already!

My always overanalyzing self is going crazy and I had to remind myself of the following quote:

"Feelings are not supposed to be logical. Dangerous is the man who has rationalized his emotions."
~David Borenstein

Then this last quote by an unknown but is everything

“But some emotions don't make a lot of noise. It's hard to hear pride. Caring is real faint - like a heartbeat. And pure love - why, some days it's so quiet, you don't even know it's there.”

*le sigh*

I need loud love. Not loud to the world but loud between us. The days when love is quiet makes my mind wander and not even wanting to deal. I need to know it's there always. I need consistency. I need not for the moment that I feel we've gotten the closest, that you disappear.

That makes me channel my inner tough girl that I've been trying to bury and I thought of that scene in Poetic Justice where Iesha said "I ain't in the business of keeping niggaz that don't wanna be kept."
